Jas gripen olyckor

Den 7 november genomförde flera förband från Blekinge flygflottilj, F 17, en mörkerövning öster om Öland. Cirka 40 minuter in i övningen fick piloten i ett av planen en felindikation om att landstället inte var låst i uppfällt läge. Därefter följde en rad felmeddelanden och varningar och styrförmågan försämrades.

Piloten avbröt övningen och vände tillbaka mot flygplatsen i Ronneby där han tvingades landa i för hög fart och utan fungerade bromsar på hjulen. Flygplanet stoppades av utrullningsnätet, meter efter asfaltskanten på landningsbanan. Piloten klarade sig oskadd men planet fick omfattande skador.

– Händelsen var allvarlig. Piloten hamnade i en komplex situation med flera följdfel och han fick en massa varningar som gjorde det svårt att tolka vilken felbild han hade. Det var ett svårt läge, men piloten hanterade det på ett bra sätt, säger Håkan Josefsson, utredare vid Statens haverikommission (SHK). 

Enligt SHK:s rapport som publicerades i början av februari utlöses problemen av ett fel i en nödutfällningsventil som i sin tur triggade igång en mängd andra fel och varningssignaler. I rapporten lyfts också en liknande hände

Accidents and incidents involving the JAS 39 Gripen

The JAS 39 Gripen is a fighter aircraft manufactured bygd the Swedish aerospace company Saab.

Eight Gripens were destroyed in crashes, two of them before the delivery to the Swedish Air Force. These aircraft included one prototype, one production aircraft and three in service with the Swedish Air Force. Two Gripens in service with the Hungarian Air Force, and one in service with the Royal Thai Air Force, were also destroyed in crashes. In addition, one aircraft was lost in a ground accident during an engine test, for a total of nine hull losses.

On 2 February , the first prototype JAS crashed on its sixth flygning, when attempting to nation in Linköping. The accident was filmed in a now-famous recording by a crew from Sveriges Television's news schema Aktuellt.^[1] The pilot, Lars Rådeström, remained in the tumbling aircraft, and flydde with a fractured elbow and some minor injuries. The crash was the result of pilot-induced oscillation (PIO). Extremely gusty winds also contributed. The accident investigation committee later concluded that the problem was
