Back in another life, when blogging was just a weird thing some people did in their bedroom, I stumbled upon Sandra Beijer, who you may also know as Niotillfem if youve been around the blogosphere for a while. inom was instantly seduced bygd the collection of candid shots of her life in Stockholm, her style and general vibe. Fast forward a few years, I sat down (metaphorically) with Sandra for a chat about style, blogging, writing and all sorts of other things.
Hi Sandra, how are you and what are you doing right now?

Ive been following you for so many years, inom think inom still remember the first time we exchanged messages! Since we both started blogging, things have changed a lot it seems. How do you feel about blogging nowadays? Do you enjoy the changes in the industry? Do you still read a lot of blogs?

Year after year, tourists throng the cities and by-roads of the world, aided in their discovery efforts by the ubiquitous guidebook. Almost without exception, these guidebooks all follow the same pattern – recommendations for restaurants, shopping, museums, monuments and so on.
But whereas they might be good on history, most tourist guidebooks are painfully short on originality, and I’m consistently bored by the same old construction of these books. As a person interested in culture, I want to find that personal connection with the city that I repeatedly find these books to lack. Seemingly in agreement are the people behind Stockholm’s Uncommon Guidebook.
Edited by Erik Nordlander, Uncommon Stockholm is a surprising breath of fresh air when it comes to guides to the city. The book includes the usual recommendations for best places to go and see, but it does not overwhelm the reader with paragraphs on its significance and descriptions. It has also introduced the element that I have looked for in a guidebook for so long – personal connection.

Bloggaren, författaren och influencern Sandra Beijer har under många år guidat sina följare genom alltifrån hjärtesorg och lästips till Stockholms bästa krogliv. Hon kan staden mer eller mindre utan och innan, inte minst för att hon promenerar vart hon än ska. Hej Sandra! Berätta, hur ser ditt liv ut just nu?
– Jag kom nyligen hem från en lång period i Frankrike där jag varit tillsammans med min familj. Just nu är jag föräldraledig, och förutom att ta hand om min blogg och mina kanaler så har jag precis avslutat arbetet med att göra klart dramaserien Allt som blir kvar, baserad på min bok med samma namn. Vi vågar påstå att du kan Stockholm nästan utan och innan, vad är det bästa med den här staden?
