    While waiting for Frihamnen to be expanded, the citizens of Gotheburg have since been able to take part in temporary activities in Jubileumsparken. These activities include sailing, sauna bathing, swimming, skating and much more. This is a new way of developing a city – that together with the citizens try out what works before you build something permanently.

    Prototypes are replaced bygd permanent elements

    In August , the first permanent part of Jubileumsparken opened. This was Gothenburg’s fifth excursion playground featuring playful sculptures that stand out among many other playgrounds. During Gothenburg&#;s Anniversary Festival, from June 2nd to June 5th, , the new harbor bath with two saltwater pools and a freshwater pool was inaugurated. Starting in the autumn of , a new permanent sauna will be constructed. It will be placed in the same location and have the same appearance as the current sauna prototype.

    The activities in the park are managed bygd the Passalen in collaboration with the City of Gothenburg. This creates job opportunities for around thirty young adults each year who work as park hosts. Read more about Jubileumsparken at

    Allmänna badet is the Swedish name for the communal bath in Jubileumsparken in Frihamnen.

    Since the summer of the people of Gothenburg has got a new favorite place to cool themselves off during hot days. The bath in The Jubilee Park is the first communal bath that has ever floated about the river Göta Älv. The pool is 20 meters long, 8 meters wide and is open for anyone who wants to take a dip. And in it’s gonna be even bigger with several pools!

    Just like the sauna (that’s closed for renovation) in the same place, the bath is a part of Gothenburg’s year anniversary and has been made after the people of Gothenburg’s wish to be closer to the water. The water is being cleansed without chlorine and the bath was made with requirements for social and ecological sustainability together with RaumlaborBerlin.

    The amount of swimmers is limited to 80 people so there are time slots on a drop-in basis. That means you sometimes have to queue and wait for a spot. However, if there is few people swimming you could be allowed to stay over several time slots. New dressing rooms are built at the moment so if you can, swap into your swimming gear at home.     Intresseanmälan till skolsegling

    Sedan har skolklasser från hela Göteborg kommit till Jubileumsparken för att lära sig om segling och vatten.

    Båtarna som används heter &#;Accessjolle&#; och är en tillgänglighetsanpassad segelbåt som kan användas av alla, oavsett ålder och funktionalitet. Ingen tidigare seglingserfarenhet eller simkunnighet krävs.

    går bokningen till lite annorlunda än tidigare. Det beror på att vi behöver säkerställa att vi får in all information vid bokning, samt undvika att en person bokar upp ett stort antal pass som inte utnyttjas. I formuläret ovan kommer du fylla i din intresseanmälan.

    VEM KAN BOKA?

    Ovan finns ett bokningsformulär. Alla Göteborgs skolklasser från förskoleklass upp till gymnasiet är varmt välkomna att boka.

    För att så många som möjligt ska få segla får varje klass endast komma en gång per säsong.

    OBS: Du som bokar måste vara den som följer med klassen. Du kan alltså inte boka åt en annan klass eller lärare.

    Vi kommer hålla skolsegling måndagar, tisdagar, onsdagar, torsdagar och vissa fredagar. Veckorna samt Varje dag finns ett pass – och ett pass – (fredagar 1
