Swedish mathematician
Hans Vilhem Rådström (&#;) was a Swedish mathematician who worked on complex analysis, continuous groups, convex sets, set-valued analysis, and game theory. From , he was lektor (assistant professor) at Stockholm University,[1] and from , he was Professor of Applied Mathematics at Linköping University.[2]
Early life
[edit]Hans Rådström was the son of the writer and editor Karl Johan Rådström, and the elder brother of the writer and journalist Pär Rådström.
Rådström studied mathematics and obtained his Ph.D. under the joint supervision of Torsten Carleman and Fritz Carlson. His early work pertained to the theory of functions of a complex variable, particularly, complex dynamics. He was appointed lektor (assistant professor) at Stockholm University in [1] Later, he was associated with the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.
In he became co-editor of the Scandinavian popular-mathematics journal Nordisk Matematisk Tidskrift.[3] He also edited the Swedish edition of The Scientific American Book of Mathematical Puzzles and Diversions, a recreational mathematics book by Martin Gard

Powers of Darkness (Swedish Mörkrets makter) is an anonymous Swedish version of Bram Stoker's novel Dracula, serialised in the newspaper Dagen and credited only to Bram Stoker and the still-unidentified "A—e."
It is a variant or adaptation rather than a direct translation, with added characters, new plot elements and significant differences from the original. It served as the basis of a shorter Icelandic utgåva under the same title the following year (Icelandic: Makt Myrkranna), which appeared as both a newspaper serial and a book.[1]
Powers downplays the vampirism of Stoker's novel and portrays Dracula primarily as the head of an international cult inspired by Social Darwinism, whose goal fryst vatten elimination of the weakest and world domination bygd an elite.

Carl Bernhard Wadström
Carl Bernhard Wadström, född 19 april i Stockholm, död 6 april i Versailles, var en svensk assessor, nationalekonom, skriftställare, tecknare, målare och slaveriabolitionist.
Han var son till assessorn i Svea hovrätt Carl Niklas Wadström och Maria Helena Blomberg och från gift med Ulrica Westerberg samt farbror till Carl Gustaf Wadström.
Arbetet för svenska staten
[redigera | redigera wikitext]Efter bergsexamen i Uppsala och en lantmäteriexamen anställdes han vid Bergskollegium. Där var han bland annat assistent åt Sven Rinman och fick tidigt en rad viktiga uppdrag. Under en följd av år var han mångsidigt verksam med utvecklingen av den svenska industrin och det svenska näringslivet. Han ledde – byggandet av Trollhätte kanal och utsågs att vid Avesta kopparverk bygga det första svenska valsverket för kopparbleck. För textilindustrin konstruerade han en spinn- och kardmaskin.
Wadström gjorde ett antal resor utomlands, bland annat för att i Solingen studera vapensmideskonsten och därifrån till Sverige hemföra skickliga vapensmeder. År studerade han utländska järnförädlingsfabriker och år anlade han den första svenska fabriken för kirurgiska ins
